Two of Ireland’s best known sporting personalities – soccer star Ronnie Whelan and GAA legend Paidí O’Se –  joined forces today in Croke Park with former rugby international Shane Byrne to encourage Irish men to take action on erectile dysfunction (ED). The sportsmen were also joined by Dr Justin Smyth, a Dublin-based general practitioner, to launch an educational awareness campaign entitled Don’t Spend Life on the Sidelines.

The sporting trio are advising Irish men to give ED the red card this summer by being as passionate about this aspect of their health as they undoubtedly are when it comes to soccer, rugby and Gaelic games.
